Smith Jr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, April 8, 1987 Services for Mr. T. A. Smith Jr., 69, were at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Ramon Warren officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Smith died Thursday in the Memorial City Hospital in Houston, Tex. after a lengthy illness. He was a lifelong resident of Tallulah, a retired farmer and a member of the First United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elaine Smith of Tallulah; one son, Thurston A. Smith III of Boston, Mass.; one daughter, Mrs. Michael Quinlan of Houston; one brother, Dr. Edward Cecil Smith of Hampton, Va.; and three grandchildren. Pallbearers were Lane Wilson, Odo Cagnolatti, Al Gust, Milton Nelson, Robert Higgins, Charles Ladd Abrahm, Freddy Gaumnitz and D. D. Wood.
