Smith - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, April 19, 1984 Mrs. Mittie S. Smith, 79, died of at Vicksburg Medical Center in Vicksburg, Miss., after an illness, Services were at 11 a.m. Xxxxxday at Crothers Funeral chapel in Tallulah with the Larry Miller officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Mrs.Smith was a native of Xxxerville, a resident of Oak Xxxxx for five years, a resident of Madison Parish for 50 years, a homemaker, and a member of the Christian faith. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Pauline Mobley of Oak Grove and Mrs. Frances McKay of Vicksburg, Miss.; one brother, Bob Williams of Newellton; one sister, Mrs. Carrie Smith of Tallulah; 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were R. R. Mitchell, Charles "B. B." Harmon, John Edward Baker, Bobby Falanagan, Garry McKay, and Robert Crinkovic.
