All rights reserved. *********************************************************************************************** Louis Smith - Madison Parish, Louisiana From The Monroe News-Star (LA), Tuesday, August 5, 1975 WINNSBORO - Funeral services for Louis Smith, 65, of Delhi were held at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Kidder-Cox Funeral Home of Delhi with the Rev. Gene Irving officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. He died Monday in Franklin Parish Hospital in Winnsboro after a long illness. Survivors include two brothers, Marion Smith of Delhi and Marshall Smith of Athens; one sister, Mrs. Margaret Smith of Midland, Tex.; 11 nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were W. S. Reagans, David Arnold, Bill Fulford, D. D. Arnold, Freddie Tisdale and D. V. Cartledge. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
