Smith, 17, Succumbs While Eating Tuesday Noon Horace Shelton Smith, 17, son of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Smith, Tallulah, died of a heart attack Tuesday while eating dinner at his home, just west of here on U. S. 80, at 12:30. Funeral services were conducted at the home of his parents Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock, with the Rev. Shirley Briggs, pastor of the Tallulah Baptist Church officiating. Interment followed under the direction of Young's Funeral Home in Silver Cross Cemetery. Pallbearers were O. L. Lott, R. A. Lott, Howard Burnside, Bob King, Herman Thornton and Frank Jacobs. Besides his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Mary Katherine Smith, Loraine Smith, his paternal grandfather, Mr. Jeff Smith, all of Tallulah; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Meyers, Delhi.
