All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Clinton Max Smith - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, November 22, 1978 The funeral of Clinton Max Smith, Tallulah was held Saturday in the Church of Christ with Revs. Bill Xxxxx and D. T. Williams officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Smith died Friday at his home after a brief illness. Mr. Smith was a lifelong resident Madison Parish, a farmer, a xxxter, a member of the Church of Christ and a member of the Louisiana Aerial Xxxxors Association. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Smith of Tallulah; two sons Xxxade Smith and Chad Smith, both of Tallulah; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence J. Smith of Tallulah; two brothers, Kenneth Smith and James E. "Skip" Smith, both of Tallulah; four sisters, Mrs. Barbara Watson of Monroe, Mrs. Jerry Richardson and Glyn Smith of Newellton, and Mrs. Faye Holloway of Tallulah. Pallbearers were Bill Yerger, Jr., Bobby Todd, Johnnie Goss, Wayne Nolan, Shorty Jackson, Tommy Neumann, Jerry Word and Carl Hill. Honorary pallbearers are Madison Parish farmers and pilots. The family requests memorials be made to Tallulah Academy High School and the Tallulah Church of Christ.
