All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************* Carolyn Smith - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, November 8, 2010 TALLULAH — Carolyn Smith died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010, at River Region Medical Center. She was 79. Mrs. Smith was born in Bozeman, La., and had lived in Madison Parish for a number of years. She retired as owner of Smith’s Grocery. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church in Tallulah. Survivors include two sons, Michael Smith of Midland, Texas, and Gary Smith of St. Joseph, La.; three brothers, Rex Davis of Houston, Texas, Ruel Davis of Springhill, La., and Nolan Davis of Camden, Ark.; one sister, Reba Powell of Cullen, La.; and three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services were at noon today at Parkview Baptist Church. Burial followed at Memorial Park Cemetery.
