Skipper - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, May 18, 2010 TALLULAH — James F. Skipper died Monday, May 17, 2010, at Madison Parish Hospital. He was 73. Mr. Skipper was born in Ringold, La., and had lived in Tallulah for more than 54 years. He was retired from the Chicago Mill, where he worked as a millwright. He was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Annie May Skipper of Tallulah; a daughter, Sharon Rene’ Merrill of Pioneer, La.; a brother, Bill Skipper of Delhi; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church with the Revs. John Rushing and Edward Kline Jr. officiating. Burial, directed by Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home, will follow at Epps Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from noon until the service at the church. Pallbearers will be Richard Skipper, David Skipper, Neil Skipper, Stacey Skipper, Rickey Skipper, Jimmy Roy Skipper, Beau Skipper and Phillip Skipper.
