All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Lillian Sistrunk - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, July 1, 1976 Funeral services for Mrs. Lillian Sistrunk were held Saturday at the Mound Baptist Church with Rev. Xxxxxx and Rev. Barney Holloway officiating. Burial followed in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Sistrunk died Friday morning in the Madison Parish Hospital after a long illness. She was a native of Xxxx Parish and a lifelong resident of Madison Parish. She was a member of The Mound Baptist Church. She is survived by five sons, Wilmur Sistrunk of Thomastown, Earl Sistrunk of Utah, Ray Sistrunk of Iowa, Edward Sistrunk of Alaska, Creighton Sistrunk of Mississippi; three daughters, Mrs. Hilda Lott and Euanita James of Thomastown, Mrs. Maggie Longest of California; one sister, Mrs. Ruth Farr of Pascagoula; 22 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Leon Segrest, Dave Moore, C. H. Hodge, Charlie Hopkins, Bill Welch and Marvin Worley.
