Sims Passes Away Wednesday In Vicksburg Hospital D. E. Sims, 77, well known here, died Wednesday afternoon in a hospital in Vicksburg, following a long illness. Several years ago Mr. Sims was hit by an automobile, but after long confinement, practically recovered from his injuries, though he walked with a limp. He had been a resident of Tallulah for about twelve years and is survived by a son, F. P. Sims, of Tallulah, with whom he has made his home here. He has other relatives near Crowville. Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon at the Harris cemetery in the Lone Pine community near Crowville.
