Sigh - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post March 8, 2009 TALLULAH — Robert I. Sigh died Friday, March 6, 2009, at M.D. Anderson Medical Center in Houston, Texas. He was 53. Born in Vicksburg, he was the son of the late Charles Dennis Sigh Sr. and Robbie Louise Handorf Sigh. A former resident of Vicksburg, Mr. Sigh had been a resident of Tallulah for the past 15 years. He was a graduate of Vicksburg High School and the University of Southern Mississippi where he played on the Eagles football team. Mr. Sigh taught in the Rolling Fork School System and at the time of his death was a locomotive engineer with the Kansas City Southern Railroad with 15 years of service. He was an avid hunter and sportsman. Mr. Sigh was a member of the First Christian Church of Vicksburg. Mr. Sigh was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Dennis Sigh Jr. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Dent Sigh; two sons, Travis Brett Sigh and Benjamin Sigh; and two daughters, Erin Leigh Sigh and Rebecca Allison Sigh. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Revs. Michael Nation and Walter Frazier officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until the hour of the service, both at Riles Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Kiger Sigh, Eddie Grant, Jerry McNeil, David Hosemann, Swayze Rigby, Joey Dirago, Keith Kellum and Iley Behr. Honorary pallbearers will be Butch Spivey, Darrell Spivey, Robert Morrison III, Brad Foster, John Herrod, Mark Hilderbrand, Jim Stirgus Sr., Bradley Walhood, Dr. Grace Shumaker, Dr. Michael Byers, Dr. John Crommitt and employees of Kansas City Southern Railroad.
