Shorter - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, November 18, 1982 Services for Mrs. Adelaide A. Shorter, 71, will be at 2 p.m. today at Crothers Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. James Miller officiating. Burial will be in Silver Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Shorter died Monday at Madison Parish Hospital after a short illness. She was a native of Quaker Neck, Md., and had lived in Tallulah for five years. She was a housewife and a member of the Wesley Chapel Methodist Church in Maryland. Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Sarah V. Glascox of Tallulah; two brothers, James Chaires, John Chaires, both of Rock Hall Md.; sister, Mrs. Thelma Case of Baltimore; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Paul Herman, Monte Busby, Danny Busby, Boyd Wyatt, Lloyd Wyatt and Walter Wyatt.
