Mrs. Margaret was a native of Tallulah, LA, and was a long-time resident of Opelousas. She passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2014, at Prompt Succor Nursing Home in Opelousas, LA, after a very lengthy illness at the age of 72.

She was a registered nurse, the Director of the Nursing Program and a nursing instructor for many years at the Louisiana Technical College in Tallulah. She loved to read and sew as a pastime. She loved to spend time with her family and friends. She was a loving wife, and a caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Because of her love of teaching and sharing knowledge with others, her legacy will live on through her donation of her body to science for anatomical study and research. Through this wonderful gift, she will be able to share the study of myasthenia gravis with others.
