All rights reserved. *********************************************************************************************** Leo Shields - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Madison Journal October 3, 1941 LEO SHIELDS Leo Shields, 72-year old planter of East Carroll parish, passed away in a Vicksburg sanitarium yesterday morning about 11:30. Mr. Shields had been in ill health about three months. Mr. Shields, a resident of Alsatia in East Carroll parish, was well known here. Up to press time yesterday funeral arrangements had not been completed. Mr. Shields is survived by his wife, Mrs. Agnes Harvey Shields, one daughter, Mrs. W. Z. Adams, of Tallulah, and two grandchildren, daughters of Mrs, Adams.
