M TALLULAH. La: Nov. 3—Funeral services for Horace Edward Shelton, 58, a merchant of this town, who died at his home Friday, will be held his afternoon at 3 o'clock with the Rev. J. F. Kilpatrick officiating. Pallbearers will be T. A. Cagnolatti, Jim Ellis, L. G. Storey, Aubrey Hurd, John Sevier and Mr. Sullivan. Interment will be In Silver Cross Cemetery. Mr. Shelton was born in Winnsboro and had been a resident Tallulah for the past 23 years. He was well known and highly esteemed. He was a member of the Methodist church. Mr. Shelton is survived by his wife; a son, H. E. Shelton, Jr, Tallulah; his mother, Mrs. C. A. Shelton; three sisters; Mrs. Guy Maynor of Fort Worth, Mrs. Alex Ragland of Monroe, Mrs. Gus Kogan of Winnsboro, and four brothers, W. J. Shelton and M. Shelton of Gilbert, C. C. Shelton of Fort Worth. and C. A. Shelton of Tallulah, now in the U.S. Army, stationed in Washington, D. C.
