All rights reserved. ************************************************ Retta Brooks Sevier - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Evening Post, August 17, 1992 TALLULAH-Retta Brooks Sevier died Saturday Aug. 15, 1992, at the Madison Parish Hospital. She was 92. Mrs. Sevier was a lifelong resident of Tallulah. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, the Garden Club and Tallulah Presbyterian Church. She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn S. Ratcliff and Roberta S. Gandy, both of Tallulah; one son, Henry C. Sevier Jr. of Tallulah; one brother, Judge Cliff C. Adams of Tallulah; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Services were at 10 a.m. today at Tallulah Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Richard Harrod officiating. Burial followed at Silver Cross Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jim Folk, Jack Folk, Glenn Booth, C. Calvin Adams, William R. Adams, Carroll Regan, John Neill, Warren Patrick and Andrew L. Sevier Jr. Memorials may be made to the Tallulah Presbyterian Church or a favorite charity.
