"Don" Sevier - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Evening Post, September 9, 1987 TALLULAH, La. - Services for Mr. John D. "Don" Sevier will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Trinity Episcopal Church in Tallulah with the Rev. Ed Robertson officiating. Burial will follow in Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Sevier died Tuesday, Sept. 8, 1987, at Baptist Medical Center in Jackson after a short illness. He was 78. Mr. Sevier was a lifelong resident of Tallulah, a retired employee of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Vicksburg and a member of Trinity Episcopal Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Louise Sevier of Tallulah; and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Glenn Booth, Harvey Mounger, Charles Beene, Louis Buckner, W.W. Ziegler, Sr., and Raymond Henderson.
