Sevier Jr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal May 10, 1995 Services for Andrew L. Sevier Jr. were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel in Tallulah with the Rev. Lillard Bevell officiating. Burial was at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. Sevier died Friday, May 5, 1995, at Delta Haven Nursing Home in Tallulah. He was 72. He was a native and lifelong resident of Tallulah. He was a first lieutenant with the U.S. Army Occupation Forces in Japan, having served in World War II. He was a member of Tallulah Presbyterian Church, where he was a deacon. He was a retired farmer. He is survived by his wife, Martha Snider Sevier of Tallulah; two sons, Andrew L. Sevier III of Wake Village, Texas, and William H. "Billy" Sevier of Tallulah; one daughter, Susan Sevier Hunt of Odessa, Texas; and three grandchildren. Pallbearers were Bobby Todd, Marshall Sevier; Stuart Mobley, Conrad Sevier, Spencer Sevier and Mike Sevier. Honorary pallbearers were Fred Edgerton, Trent Palmer, Ted Ivy, Dr. L. P. Neumann, Billy Post and Warren Patrick.
