TALLULAH - Sam Scurria Jr. died Monday, Dec. 18, 2000, at Olive Branch Senior Care Center in 
Tallulah. He was 86.

Mr. Scurria was a lifelong resident of Tallulah. He was an Army veteran of World War II and 
a member of St. Edward's Catholic Church.

He is survived by two daughters, Patrina Weems of Delhi and Maria Wall of Monroe; a son, 
Sam Scurria of St. Louis; a brother, Joseph Scurria of Tallulah; two sisters, Jennie Scurria 
of Tallulah and Angelina Illardo of Dallas; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A private family service will be at St. Edward's Catholic Church with the Rev. Ferre D'Cruz 
officiating.
