All rights reserved. ************************************************ Sam Scurria, Jr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post December 2000 TALLULAH - Sam Scurria Jr. died Monday, Dec. 18, 2000, at Olive Branch Senior Care Center in Tallulah. He was 86. Mr. Scurria was a lifelong resident of Tallulah. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of St. Edward's Catholic Church. He is survived by two daughters, Patrina Weems of Delhi and Maria Wall of Monroe; a son, Sam Scurria of St. Louis; a brother, Joseph Scurria of Tallulah; two sisters, Jennie Scurria of Tallulah and Angelina Illardo of Dallas; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A private family service will be at St. Edward's Catholic Church with the Rev. Ferre D'Cruz officiating. Memorial may be made to St. Edward's Catholic Church, P.O. Box 1308, Tallulah, La. 71282.
