Mrs. Lelia L Scott Funeral Held Here Friday, March 2nd

Mrs. Lelia L. Scott, 69-year-old resident of Tallulah, died Wednesday, February 28th, at a Monroe 
Hospital at 6:15 A.M. A native of Crowville, La., she had been a resident of this community a number 
of years.

Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon, March 2nd, from the Tallulah Baptist Church at 2 
o'clock, with the Rev. Shirley Briggs, pastor, officiating. Interment followed in the Silver Cross 
Cemetery, under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Bill Eaker, Russell R. Holt, A. H. Willett, Jr., A. J. Thompson, W. F. Powell, 
A. L. Girod.

She is survived by 4 daughters, Mrs. Viola Maxwell, Snyder, Tex. ; Mrs. Lelia Carney, Tallulah ; 
Mrs. Roberta Koknios, Monroe, La.; Mrs. Helen Eaker, Newellton; 1 son, Walter T. Scott, Tallulah; 
10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Mrs. Gussie Rundell, Longview, Tex.; 
Mrs. Elizabeth Seever, Shreveport, La. ; 1 brother, Carey Ellis Harris, Slaughter, La.
