All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Lelia Fleming Schneidau - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal February 26, 1965 Lelia Fleming Schneidau Mrs. Lelia Fleming Schneidau, a native of Madison Parish, died Wednesday, Feb. 24, 1965 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edward H. Heffner, 9130 West Parkhill Ave., Milwaukee, Wis. Mrs. Schneidau had been ill for many months. Services will be held in Milwaukee and the remains will be brought to Tallulah for burial in the family plot next Friday, March 5th. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Heffner, and a wide circle of relatives and friends in Tallulah. Mrs. Schneidau is a member of the Episcopal Church. She was born just south of town on the old "Right Bower" Plantation and orphaned at an early age. She was reared by her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Will Coltharp. Her late brother, Paul Fleming, made his home with Mr. and Mrs Albert Coltharp. Both Mrs. Coltharps were sisters of Mrs. Schneidau's mother. She has been in Tallulah recently, making her home with Mrs. A. H. Willett, Sr., a life-long friend. From Tallulah Madison Journal March 5, 1965 Services For Mrs. Schneidau At Trinity Church Services to be conducted for Mrs. Lelia Fleming Schneidau, at 11 A. M. tomorrow, Saturday March 6th. Mrs. Schneidau, a native of our parish, died Feb. 24 et the home of her daughter, Mrs. Edward Heffner, in Milwaukee, Wis. Bishop Allin of Mississippi will conduct the services. Interment will follow in the family plot in Silver Cross Cemetery.
