B Schicker - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, December 6, 1957 Services Held Friday For E. B. Schicker Funeral services for E. B Schicker, 73, who died in a Vicksburg hospital Wednesday night, November 27, after a short illness, were held Friday at 2:00 P. M. at the Presbyterian Church with Rev. J. Arthur Strickland officiating, assisted by the Rev. Fr. William S. Spilman, Rector of Trinity Episcopal Church. Interment followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home Mr. Schicker was a native of Texarkana, Ark., and a former resident of Little Rock, Ark., had been in Tallulah since 1941. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and a retired revenue officer. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lucille Reid Schicker, two daughters, Mrs. Wade Kirkwood, Akron, Ohio and Mrs. Clyde May, Tallulah, two sons, Edward Yerger, Thibodeaux, La., and Edward Barnes Schicker, Oklahoma City, Okla., three sisters, Mrs. Inman Cook and Mrs. J. O. Naugle, both of Hattiesburg, Miss., and Mrs. F. A. Pillet of Belton, Mo., one brother, F. A. Schicker, Little Rock, Ark. Pallbearers were M. A. Wroten, L. G. Storey, Lucian Farr, Don Sevier, R. G. Long, Gus Willett, John Simpson and Rufus Yerger.
