Savage will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home Chapel in Tallulah with the Rev. Jean Foreman officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Darnell, Ark. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Wednesday until the hour of service at the funeral home. Mrs. Savage died Sunday, Oct. 15, 2006, at Madison Parish Hospital. She was 86. She was born in Liddieville, La., and had lived in Tallulah most of her life. She was a cook for Upper Mississippi Towing Company. She also owned and operated Live Oaks Restaurant and worked as a seamstress for McRae's. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Savage Sr.; and a son, Larry Wayne Savage. She is survived by two sons, Alfred Salvage Jr. and David Savage, both of Natchitoches; four daughters, Patricia S. Pierce and Thelma Savage, both of Tallulah, Marion S. King of Delhi and Gloria S. Mayeux of Vicksburg; 71 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be David Savage, Timothy King, Tom King, D.J. Savage, Bump Lee, Alfred Savage III, Kenny Crawford and Don DeWeese.
