All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Enos Boyce Saunders - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, September 21, 1951 Enos Boyce Saunders Enos Boyce Saunders, retired planter of this community, died Sunday morning, September 16th at his home in Tallulah following a brief illness. He was 80 years of age. A native of Lake Village, Ark., Mr. Saunders formerly owned Montrose Plantation, which he sold recently. He and Mrs. Saunders resided in Baton Rouge during the past winter, and returned to Tallulah this past July. Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Tallulah Episcopal Church, with the Rev. J. D. Gilliam, officiating. Burial followed under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home, in Silver Cross cemetery. Pallbearers were W. W. Pippin, W. P. Sevier, Jr., Jim Sevier, Jim Crosby, C. E. Walker, John Sevier, Jim Folk, C. E. Hester. Besides his wife, he is survived by one step-daughter, Mrs. Martha Nall White, Tallulah; one brother, Llwelyn Saunders, Lake Village, Ark., and several nieces and nephews.
