All rights reserved. ************************************************ Willie Mae Satchfield - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, August 17, 2012 Willie Mae Satchfield died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012, at Olive Branch Senior Care Center in Tallulah. She was 92. Mrs. Satchfield was born in Covington County and had lived in Madison Parish since 1949. She was a retired nurse and a charter member of Mound Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons, Edward Emmitt Satchfield of Mound, Norvel Wardell Satchfield of Dayton, Texas, and Samuel M. Satchfield of Sidon, Miss.; two brothers, John Davis Gentry of Kingwood, Texas, and Sylvester M. Gentry of Collins, Miss.; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Rev. James Busby officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Elmwood Cemetery in Memphis. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Nephews and grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the Mound Baptist Church Building Fund.
