All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Marshall Perry Sargent - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, September 7, 1988 Funeral services for Mr. Marshall Perry Sargent, 68, were held Tuesday at 3 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Tallulah with Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial was in the Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Sargent died Monday at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Helena, Ark., a veteran of World War II and had lived in Tallulah for 60 years. Mr. Sargent was a retired operator of a dry cleaning business and a member of the Tallulah First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Julie Vann Sargent of Tallulah; two sons, James Maxwell Sargent of Houma and Robin Wayne Sargent of Minden; one brother, Milton Sargent of Columbia; and three grandchildren. Pallbearers were Richard Marshall, Gene Cox, Larry Cox, John Toney, Paul Meeks and Sammie Byrd.
