All rights reserved. *********************************************************************************************** Linna May Sargent - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Monroe News-Star February 8, 1973 TALLULAH — Funeral services for Mrs. Linna May Sargent, 73, of Vivian, were to be at 2 p.m. today at Crothers Funeral Home here with the Rev. Crawford Williams officiating. Burial was to be in Silver Cross Cemetery. Mrs.Sargent died Tuesday at her residence after a long illness. A native of Kentucky, she was a former Tallulah resident, had resided in Ida for 2 1/2 years, and was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include four sons, Vernon Sargent of Ida, Perry Sargent of Tallulah, Gene Sargent and Howard Sargent, both of New Iberia; 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were to be Howard Carney, Richard Marshall, Eddie Mack Elledge, Onward Bullard, Artie Skelton and Gene Cox.
