All rights reserved. *********************************************************************************************** Jesse Arnold Sargent - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Monroe News-Star (LA), Tuesday, July 1, 1969 TALLULAH (Special) - Funeral services for Jesse Arnold Sargent, 58, of Monroe, were held at 2 p.m. today at Crothers Funeral Chapel of Tallulah with the Rev. Dale Wilson officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery. Mr. Sargent died Saturday in Glenwood Hospital of an apparent heart attack. He was a clerk at Palms Motel of Monroe and a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. J. H. Sargent of Alexandria; four brothers, Howard Sargent of New Iberia, Donald Eugene of Alexandria, Rev. Milton V. Sargent of Ala. and Perry Sargent of Tallulah. Pallbearers were J. E. Lowe, Richard Marshal, Eddie M. Elledge, Nolan Smith, L. R. Bradley and A. L. Harvey.
