Samples - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal July 11, 1990 Funeral services for Mr. Richard V. Samples, 25, of Merritt Island, Fla. were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Florida Memorial Funeral Home in Rockledge with Rev. Carl White officiating. Burial was in the Florida Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Florida Memorial Funeral Home. Mr. Samples died July 7 at Cape Canaveral Hospital. He was a longtime resident of Tallulah before moving to Florida 1 1/2 years ago. He attended Brevard Community College. Survivors include his parents, Richard and Peggy Samples of Merritt Island, Ha.; one brother: Sgt. Wallace F. Samples of Upper Heyford, U.K; one sister; Jacquelyn Copes of Tallulah; his paternal grandfather, Arthur Ray Samples of Clay, W Va.; his paternal grandmother; Meta Korsakoff of Jacksonville, Fla.; maternal grandparents, Floyd and Helen Spells of Tallulah; and great-grandmother, Nona Samples of Clendenin, W Va.
