All rights reserved. ************************************************ Rauel Saldana - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post, June 29, 2006 TALLULAH - Rauel Saldana died Tuesday, June 27, 2006. He was 35. Mr. Saldana was born in Monroe and had lived in Madison Parish most of his life. He served in the Navy and was a member of First Baptist Church of Tallulah. He worked as a casino poker dealer. Survivors include his mother, Elena Saldana of Tallulah; seven brothers, Gregorio Saldana, Felipe Saldana and Santiago Saldana, all of Tallulah, Miguel Saldana of Vicksburg, Julian Saldana of Baker, La., Benito Saldana of Port Barre, La., and Valente Saldana of Opelousas, La.; two sisters, Adelita Rodriguez of Opelousas and Lenor Self of Denham Springs, La.; and nieces and nephews. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. John W. Rushing officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Saldana's brothers will serve as pallbearers
