All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Lester Ralph Saiewitz - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, April 20, 1978 Lester Ralph Saiewitz, 74, of Tallulah, died Wednesday morning at Mercy Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be today at the Fisher Funeral Chapel, Vicksburg, Miss., with Rabbi Schwartzman officiating. Burial will follow in the Anshe Chesed Cemetery in Vicksburg. Mr. Saiewitz was a pharmacist at the Bloom's Drug Store in Tallulah for fifty years. He was born in Darnell, Ark. and lived in Tallulah most of his life. Survivors include one brother, Dr. Sam B. Saiewitz of New Orleans; two aunts, Mrs. Ida Bloom and Mrs. Mildred Kern, both of Tallulah; one uncle, Ralph Bloom, of Tallulah, and two nieces and two great nephews.
