Thursday In A Vicksburg Hospital Elizabeth Ann Roy, 9, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Roy of Willow Bayou community near here, died in a Vicksburg, Miss., hospital at 8:20 a. m, last Thursday after a lingering illness. She was a member of a well known Madison Parish family. Besides her parents she is survived by one brother, Thomas Roy; and paternal grandmother, Mrs. J. T. Roy, Sr., both of Tallulah, and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Cobb of Oil City, La. Funeral services were held Friday at 2:30 p. m. at the Willow Bayou Baptist Church with Rev. Clyde Williams, pastor of the Kedrum Baptist Church, Amite, La., officiating, assisted by the Rev. E. D. Smith, pastor of the Willow Bayou Baptist Church. Burial followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Joe Thornton, Wilford Parker, William Oldham and Sanford Parker.
