All rights reserved. *********************************************************************************************** Mamie Ann Ross - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Monroe News-Star November 3, 1976 DELHI (Special) — Funeral services for Mrs. Mamie Ann Ross, 86, of Delhi were at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Mulhearn's Funeral Home here with burial in the Silver Cross Cemetery at Tallulah. Mrs. Ross died Tuesday morning in Richland Parish Hospital here after a brief illness. A member of the Elmwood Baptist Church, Mrs. Ross was a native of New Hebron, Miss. but had resided in Delhi for many years. Survivors include six sons, A. L. Ross of Transylvania, James D. Ross of Delhi, Aaron Ross of Lake Providence, Robert Milton Ross of Griffin, Ga., O. C. Ross of Monroe and James O. Ross Jr. of Grossbeck [sic Groesbeck], Tex.; one daughter, Mrs. Alma Estes of Winston Salem, N.C.; 20 grandchildren and 37-great-grandchildren.
