Ross Sr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, October 28, 1976 Final rites held for Curly Mills Charles J. Ross Sr., 51, of Tallulah died October 20 at the Veterans Hospital in Jackson, Miss. after a brief illness. Funeral services for Mr. Ross were held Friday in the chapel of Crothers Funeral home here with the Rev. Frank Shields officiating. Burial was in the Silver Cross Cemetery here. Mr. Ross was a lifetime resident of Tallulah and a veteran of World War II and the Korean conflict. Survivors include three sons, Charles J. Ross Jr. and Jimmy Dale Ross, both of Glenrose, Tex. and Douglas Ray Ross of Leesville; two daughters, Mrs. Sharon J. Bryant of Tallulah and Miss Corinthia Charlene Ross of Leesville; his mother Mrs. Annie Reed of Tallulah; one brother, Clayton Desidere of Hornbecker; and eight grandchildren.
