Rolland died Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at Madison Parish Hospital. She was 51. Born in Marksville, La., Mrs. Rolland had lived in Tallulah for the past 19 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Roman Catholic faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Elvina Bordelon; and a brother, Daniel Bordelon. Survivors include two sons, Shane Hukins and Kelly Hukins, both of Cottonport, La.; a brother, Weaver J. Bordelon of Marthaville, La.; two sisters, Cynthia Kimble of Simesport, La., and Mary Richmond of Tallulah; six grandchildren; and others, including Grandy Cartwright of Tallulah. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Edward's Catholic Church in Tallulah with the Rev. Ferre D'Cruz officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 tonight at the funeral home. A rosary service will be at 7. Pallbearers will be Scott Moreau, Darrell Paul Dauzart, John Harris, Thomas Russell, Jason Whitaker and Mark Jobe. Honorary pallbearer will be Jerry Loden. Memorials may be made to the M.S. Society.
