Rogan - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, October 18, 1963 Services For G. W. Rogan To Be Held Friday Morning Funeral services for George W. Rogan, 73, retired farmer, who died at his home near Tallulah Wednesday morning after a long illness, will be held Friday morning. Services will be conducted at the Tallulah Presbyterian Church, with the pastor, Rev. Dan Lott, officiating. Burial will follow in the Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Cupit-Young Funeral Home. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Lottie T. Rogan, Tallulah; three daughters, Mrs. Gerald Lane, Baton Rouge; Mrs. Randolph Jones, Colorado Springs, Colorado; Mrs. Joseph Shiadek, St. Louis, Mo.; five sons, George W. Rogan, Jr., Lloyd, James E., Johnny and Gerald Rogan, all of Tallulah; a sister, Mrs. L. B. Bernelle, Dallas, Texas, and 12 grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Cliff Erwin, Jack Ellerbee, Jim Sevier, Lucian Farr, Ernest Stewart, C. E. Hester, Rufus Yerger and Estus Williamson.
