Roger Johnson and Bro. Josh Morea officiating. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Mausoleum, Ferriday, LA, under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at Young's Funeral Home from 10:00 until 11:00 am, Saturday, November 08, 2014. Jimmie Reed Robertson was born on Friday, February 21, 1930 in Slidell, LA. to Sampson Cargile Smith and Euna Brewton Smith. She passed away Tuesday, November 04, 2014 at Camelot Leisure Living. She was a resident of Ferriday and member of the First Baptist Church of Ferriday. Jimmie received her B.S. at Louisiana State University and retired from Concordia Parish School System as a Librarian. She was preceeded in death by her parents, Sampson Cargile and Euna Brewton Smith and by her husband of 58 years, Johnny Robertson. She is survived by four sons, John Robertson III of Ferriday, LA, David Robertson and his wife Belinda of Baton Rouge, LA, Mike Robertson of Baton Rouge, LA and Todd Robertson and his wife Robin of Tyler, TX and a sister, Elizabeth McAnelly of Waco, TX She is also survived by a number of grandchildren . Pallbearers will be John Robertson, David Robertson, Mike Robertson, Todd Robertson, William McAnelly and Caleb Robertson.
