All rights reserved. ************************************************ Ruthie Bell Roberson - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post July 22, 2002 TALLULAH - Ruthie Bell Roberson died Saturday, July 20, 2002, at Olive Branch Senior Care Center in Tallulah. She was 79. Mrs. Roberson was born in Gilbert, La., and had lived in Madison Parish for 60 years. She was a retired pharmacy sales clerk and was a member of First Baptist Church of Tallulah. Survivors include a son, Charles L. Roberson Jr. of Tallulah; two daughters, Patricia Trichell and Juanita Sue Robinson, both of Vicksburg; four brothers, Robert Lee Melton Jr. of Monterey, La., M.L. Melton of Greer, S.C., Mickey Melton of Tallulah and Leonard Melton of Corvallis, Ore.; one sister, Ann Gourley of Greensboro, N.C.; and eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services were at 10 a.m. today at First Baptist Church of Tallulah with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial followed at Silver Cross Cemetery. Pallbearers were Sean Trichell, Brian Robinson, Greg Robinson, Mike Melton, Jack Melton and Ronald Melton. Honorary pallbearer was Matt Roberson.
