All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Pearl Wray Richards - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, March 1, 1957 Rites Held For Mrs. Richards On Tuesday Morning Mrs. Pearl Wray Richards, 86, died Sunday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George speed, following a lengthy illness. Born in Pope, Miss., Mrs. Richards had lived in Madison Parish for the past 11 years. Prior to that time she made her home in Dallas, Texas. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock at the Methodist Church with the Rev. William F. Mayo, Pastor, officiating. Interment followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery with Young Funeral Home in charge. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Leah Mae Colvin and Mrs. George Speed, both of Tallulah; a half-sister, Mrs. L. F. Pratt of Las Cruses, New Mexico; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jesse Anderson, W. C. Workman, J. C. Sherwin, Wayne Harkey, John Taylor and Vernon Gorman.
