Richards - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, February 16, 1978 Funeral services for Mrs. Gussie M. Richards, 80, of Ferriday were held Saturday in the chapel of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah Rev. Thurman Davis officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery at Tallulah for Mrs. Richards who died Thursday in Concordia Parish Hospital at Ferriday after a brief illness. A native of Searcy, Ark., Mrs. had resided in Ferriday for six years. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Henry C. Richards Sr. of Ferriday; one son, Ralph C. Edwards Jr. of Pulaski, Tenn.; one daughter, Mrs. Charles Horn of Monroe; three stepsons, Henry C. Richards Jr. and Vernon Richards, both of Natchez, Miss., and Thomas Richards of Jackson, Miss.; one sister, Mrs. Tammy Richardson of Blytheville, Ark.; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
