All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************** Joe Reynolds Jr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal June 12, 1991 Funeral services for Mr. Joe Reynolds Jr., 66, were held at 4 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Gaumnitz and Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Reynolds died Saturday at Glenwood Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Madison Parish and owner of R&M Motor Company. He was well-known throughout Northeast Louisiana, a Marine veteran of World War II, member and past commander of the 5th District Scott Nicols Voak American Legion Post #100. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church and of the Tallulah Masonic Lodge #308. Survivors include his wife, Odie Mae Reynolds of Tallulah; three daughters, Barbara Gra-ham of Farmerville, Sandra White of St. Joseph and Joanne Cannon of West Monroe; one brother, Ralph Reynolds of Mendenhall, Miss; three sisters, Myrtle McCoy of Mendenhall, Jennie Middleton of Eudora, Ark. and Pauline Blackwell of Alvin, Tex. and five grandchildren. Pallbearers were David Bell, Rick Goulette, Harold Bolton, Earnest Williams Jr., Randy Lisonbee and Arthur Skeldon. Honorary pallbearers were Chuck Corero, Bill Colligan, Jack Millikin and members of the Scott Nicols Voak American Legion Post #100. The family requests any memorials be made to the American Legion Memorial Fund or to the American Cancer Society.
