Reynolds - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home January 20, 2015 Eva N Reynolds December 25, 1924 - January 18, 2015 Funeral services for Mrs. Eva N. Reynolds will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at 11:00 A.M., at St. Edward Catholic Church in Tallulah, La., with Father Ron Matthews officiating. Mrs. Reynolds died on Sunday, January 18, 2015, at Madison Parish Hospital, following a brief illness. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., with a Vigil service beginning at 7:00 P.M., at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Crothers- Glenwood Funeral Home. Mrs. Reynolds was born in Wesley, Iowa on December 25, 1924, and she moved to Madison Parish, La., at about the age of twelve. In 1942, she married R. L. Reynolds, also of Tallulah, where they continued to live and raised four children. Eva, known as “Aunt Eva” to many, was a stay at home Mom for a number of years, while her children were young. She later worked at Crow Drug Store, then was employed by, and ultimately retired from Southern National Bank of Tallulah. She was an active member of St. Edward Catholic Church and the Ladies Altar Society until her health necessitated that she move in to the Olive Branch Senior Care Center in 2005. Even as a resident of the nursing home, she continued to attend Mass whenever possible. Eva was preceded in death by her husband, R. L. Reynolds, her parents, Ed Neuroth and Irwina and Harold Tryon, and brothers, James Neuroth, Wayne Neuroth, and Billy Tryon. Survivors include 3 daughters, Libby (Pat) Bullard, Margo Corulla, and Frances (Bill) Kennedy, and 1 son, Robert “Bobby” Reynolds, all of Tallulah, 10 grandchildren, Lemar Bullard, Donna (Bullard) Thomas, Vince Corulla, Tori (Corulla) Kivett, Kim (Kennedy) Donham, Billy Kennedy, Trey Reynolds, Robyn (Reynolds) Carrington, Matt Reynolds, and Maggie (Reynolds) Guillory, 18 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great granddaughters, 1 sister, Kathleen Mills, and 3 brothers, Michael H. Tryon, Gary Tryon, and Frank Tryon. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Lemar Bullard, Vince Corulla, Trey Reynolds, and Matt Reynolds, and nephews, Ed Mills, Jimmy Neuroth, Craig Neuroth, and David Neuroth. Memorials may be made to St. Edward Catholic Church in Tallulah.
