All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Martha Revelle - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, November 8, 1957 Local Resident Dies After Lingering Illness Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Revelle, 77, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J. E. Lowe, Monday after a lingering illness, were held Wednesday afternoon at 3 p. m. at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Lucian Conway officiating. Interment followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Young's Funeral Home. A native of Hickman, Kentucky she had lived here for 30 years. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. J. E. Lowe, Mrs. T. A. Bilbo, both of Tallulah, Mrs. Burley Grigsby, and Mrs. Irene Owens, both of New Orleans, Mrs. J. C. Hawkins, Greenville, S. C., Mrs. Ross Morrison, Birchee, Mo., four sons Raymond Revelle, and Daymond Revelle, both of Vicksburg, Miss., George Revelle and Glenn Revelle, both of Tallulah; 23 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Leonard Sargent, Mobile, Ala. Pallbearers were T. A. Bishop, Jack Bowden, Marion Smith, Cordes Willamson, Onward Bullard, Floyd Spell and Larue Harmon.
