All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Amon Glen Revelle - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, February 19, 1976 Funeral services for Amon Glen Revelle, 53, of Greenville, S.C., were at held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church here with the Rev. Crawford Williams officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home of Tallulah. Mr. Revelle died Sunday at his residence in Greenville, S.C. as the result of a fire that occurred in his home. He was a resident of Tallulah for a number of years, a resident of Greenville, S.C. for the past 11 years, a native Advance, Mo., a former member of First Baptist Church of Tallulah and a recent member of the Maple Heights Baptist Church of Greenville, S.C. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Whistler Revelle of Greenville, S.C.,; four sons, Glen Revelle, Jr. of U.S.A.F., Hawaii; Joe Lynn Revelle, Timothy Ray Revelle and George Revelle, all of Greenville, S.C.; five daughters, Mrs. Jenny Lou King of Taylors, S.C.; Mrs. Martha Norris, Mrs. Mary Helen Sighter, Miss Beverly Revelle and Miss Paula Revelle, all of Greenville, S.C.; five sisters, Mrs. T. A. Bilbo and Mrs. Jewel Lowe, both of Tallulah; Mrs. Burley Grigsby of Kenner, Mrs. Irene Owens of New Orleans and Mrs. J. C. Hawkins of Greenville, S.C.; two brothers, George Revelle of Tallulah and Damon Revelle of Vicksburg, Miss. Pallbearers were W. T. Scott, Ray Jobe, Clyne Elledge, Eddie Mack Elledge, Ralph Young and Richard Marshall.
