Reeves died Thursday, June 17, 2004, at Jefferson Manor Nursing Home in Baton Rouge, La. She was 73. A native of Tallulah, Mrs. Reeves had lived in Jackson before moving to Baton Rouge. She was a retired retail sales clerk and a member of Temple Baptist Church in Winnsboro, La. Survivors include two sons, Ronnie L. Cook of Baton Rouge and Edward Ray Cook of Houston, Texas; a brother, E.D. Hutson of Shreveport, La.; a sister, Eloise McManus of Jackson; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. Sunday until the service at the funeral home.
