Ray - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Vicksburg Post July 28, 2013 TALLULAH — Codie L. Ray died Friday, July 26, 2013, at Olive Branch Senior Care Center in Tallulah. She was 83. Mrs. Ray was born in Stephenville, Texas, and had lived in Tallulah for almost 60 years. Survivors include one daughter, Merry Ray of Tallulah; two sons, Kolan D. Ray of Tallulah and Dr. Derris W. Ray of Amite, La.; one brother, Carson Loving; one sister, Sue Williamson; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah with John Rushing officiating. A private grave side service for family will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Toby Ray, Ashton Ray, Zachary Ray, Steven Warren, Brantley Ray, Brody Ray, Dan DuCote and Dr. Richard Bridges. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Tallulah.
