All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Jim Earl Rash - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, October 26, 1988 Funeral services for Mr. Jim Earl Rash, 64, were held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. O. B. Robertson and Rev. James Johnson officiating. Burial followed in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Rash died Monday at Mercy Regional Medical Center in Vicksburg after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Philadelphia, Ms. and was a resident of Tallulah for the past 45 years. Mr. Rash was a construction worker and a member of Parkview Baptist Church and an Army veteran of World War II, having served in the South Pacific. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Effie Rash of Tallulah; four sons, Billy Rash and James Rash, both of Tallulah, Edward Rash of Mobile, Ala. and Wayne Rash of Shreveport; six daughters, Betty Moore, Carolyn Tamburo, and JoAnn Horath, all of Tallulah, Peggy Tullos and Alice Lowery, both of Vicksburg and Helen Phillips of Dallas, Tex.; two sisters, Ann Williamson and Wilma Tarver, both of Tallulah; his mother, Mrs. Leon Owens of Tallulah; and 10 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jonathan Harris Jr., Lamar Harris, Ronnie Peeples, Al Horath, Cecil Wells and Richard Marshall. Honorary pallbearers were Bill DeWeese, Melvin Whitaker, Lloyd Moore and John Mathews.
