Priest - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, December 6, 1989 Graveside services for Mr. Paul A. Priest, 89, were at 2 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial was under direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mr. Priest died Friday in the Madison Parish Hospital. He was a native of Whiting, Mo. and had been a resident of Tallulah for the past two years. He was a retired sawmill foreman for Georgia Pacific Lumber Co. of Greenwood, a member of the Baptist faith and a member of the Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife, Alta Hicks Priest of Tallulah; one son, Paul H. Priest of Dumas, Ark.; one daughter, Margaret Rabb of Tallulah; three brothers, Cecil Priest and Bobby Priest, both of Blytheville, Ark. and Augustus Priest; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
