Price Sr. died Friday, March 12, 2004, in Tallulah. He was 60. Born in Lake Providence, Mr. Price had lived in Tallulah for 43 years. He was a machine operator and a metal worker and was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Ray Price; a sister, Doris Kinney; and his parents, Robert and Gladys Price. Survivors include his wife, Betty Joyce Whitley Price of Tallulah; a son, Mike H. Price Jr. of Tallulah; two daughters, Teresa P. Ramshur of Tallulah and Margaret L. Petersen of Calhoun, La.; three brothers, Robert Price Jr. of Vicksburg, Willie F. Price of Jacksonville, Ark., and James Price of Hot Springs, Ark.; two sisters, Neveal Bowman of Poplarville, Miss., and Estelle Allen of Oak Grove; and three grandsons. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah with the Revs. Bill Riddle and Cletus Moak officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 tonight at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Kenny Ray Price III, Rickey F. Price Jr., Billy Tad Earnest, Jesse Brewer Jr., Chris Coody and Bobby Mosley. Honorary pallbearers will be John Adcock, John Matthews, Harry Uzzle, Robert Lee Price, Derrick Price and T.J. Ramshur.
