Prewitt - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, August 29, 1985 Services for James "Jimmy" H. Prewitt, 59, were at 2 p.m. Sunday at Crothers Funeral Home chapel in Tallulah with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Mr. Prewitt was found dead Saturday morning in a field on the outskirts of Tallulah. He had been missing for several days. He was a painter and a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. B. H. "Hook" Prewitt of Tallulah; one brother, Benjamin H. Prewitt Jr. of Tallulah; two sisters, Mrs. Gloria Arender and Mrs. Patsy P. Porter, both of Monroe: and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Larry Wilkins, Stan Wilkins, Randy Orrell, Rodney Orrell, Kent Orrell, nephews, and Bill Bethea.
