POWELL Mr. F. P. Powell died Thursday, November 27, at 4:30 o'clock P. M., at his home in Tallulah. He had been an invalid for over a year and had been in poor health several years. The funeral services were held from the home and the remains laid away in the cemetery at Tallulah. Mr. Powell is survived by his wife; Mrs. Olive Foster Powell and seven children; one son, Mr. F. F. Powell now residing at Rocky Springs, Miss., and one daughter, Mrs. Baxter McDonald, of Newellton, La., the other five children are in Tallulah, where they will continue to make their home. Mr. Powell was a former resident of Claiborne County, Mississippi his old home being near Rocky Springs. The many friends of the bereaved family extend them their sympathy in their loss.
